Nrityenakatha is dedicated to uncovering the treasures buried in Indian history and literature and sharing them with a wide span of audiences, striving for both accessible and relatable art. A team of 30 professionally trained dancers, actresses and actors bring these rare stories to life in the form of unique, movie-like dance musicals. We harness the influential platform of arts and entertainment to instill and celebrate strong morals, values and positivity.  Our shows encompass beautiful love stories, grand kingdoms, intense battles, strong leaders, powerful faith, fascinating history and moments of romance, thrill, sorrow and comedy. These productions transport audiences to different ancient Indian eras through novel poetic dialogues and songs, a diverse range of dances, majestic scenes, colorful costumes and captivating storylines. The choreography pushes the boundaries of traditional Indian dances by strategically blending together Kuchipudi with Garba/Raas to paint each scene as authentically and creatively as possible. Dances are set to vibrant, custom soundtracks composed in the Hindustani genre. To generate a movie-like experience on stage, real-life dynamic backdrops, props and background music are meticulously designed to capture the spectrum of emotions in each scene.
